1. Definitions
For purposes of these Terms:

means all text, images, videos, audio, code, data, and other materials displayed or made available via the Website.
WEBSITE
refers to https://g-g.art and its subdomains.
USER, YOU, or YOUR
means any person who accesses or uses the Website.
FEEDBACK
means ideas, suggestions, or comments you submit about the Website or its Content.
USER GENERATED CONTENT (UGC)
means any comments, posts, or other material you voluntarily post, upload, or submit to the Website through interactive features such as comment sections or submission forms. UGC does not include artworks or other materials published editorially by G—G.

G—G GENERATIVE GENERATION is an independent editorial project dedicated to critical coverage of generative art and computational creativity. Legal incorporation under Italian jurisdiction is in progress. These Terms will be updated upon formal establishment of the entity.
By accessing or using the Website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

By using the Website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy & Cookies Policy (incorporated herein by reference). We may modify these Terms at any time; changes take effect upon posting. Continued use of the Website after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

4. Eligibility & Age Restriction

Artist Works. All artworks featured on this Website remain the exclusive intellectual property of their respective creators. G—G does not claim ownership, co-ownership, or exclusive rights over any artist’s work. Publication on G—G is strictly editorial: works are featured in the context of critical writing, curatorial commentary, and journalistic coverage of generative art and computational creativity. Wherever possible, artists are credited by name.
Restrictions. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any Content on this Website—including artist works—without prior written permission from the relevant rights holder. For G—G editorial content, written permission from G—G is also required.
6. License to Use the Website
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Website for personal, non-commercial purposes. This license excludes any form of automated data collection, scraping, or data mining without prior written consent. Any use beyond this license requires our prior written permission.
7. Editorial Use of Artist Works
G—G features artworks and related visual materials for editorial purposes: critical analysis, curatorial commentary, exhibition coverage, artist profiles, and journalistic reporting on generative art and computational creativity.
This use is grounded in editorial and informational purpose under applicable intellectual property frameworks. G—G does not feature artist works for commercial exploitation, merchandising, or advertising. Every editorial use is accompanied by contextual writing—criticism, analysis, or commentary—that constitutes the primary purpose of publication.
Artists are credited by name wherever reasonably possible. If an artist prefers that their work not appear on G—G, they may request removal by contacting connect@g-g.art. Removal requests are addressed within 72 hours, covering all instances on the Website and associated channels.
Publication on G—G does not imply formal partnership, endorsement, or any transfer of rights between the artist and G—G.
8. Feedback & Suggestions
If you submit Feedback, you grant G—G a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, modify, and incorporate it for any purpose without attribution or compensation.
9. User-Generated Content
License to G—G. By posting UGC through interactive features on the Website, you grant G—G a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, and distribute such UGC in connection with the operation of the Website and its editorial activities. This license does not extend to commercial exploitation of your UGC outside the context of G—G’s editorial operations.
Attribution. G—G credits the original creator of UGC wherever reasonably possible.
Responsibility. You represent that you own or have all necessary rights in your UGC and that its posting does not violate any rights of third parties.
Moderation. We reserve the right to remove or refuse any UGC at our discretion.
10. User Accounts & Conduct
Certain features may require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and for all activity under your account.
You agree not to use the Website to: violate any applicable law or regulation; infringe on intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights; harass, threaten, defame, or abuse others; upload malicious code or attempt unauthorized access; scrape, crawl, or extract data using automated means; or circumvent or interfere with security features of the Website.
Violations may result in suspension or termination of your access.

12. Notice & Takedown Procedure

18. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
Governing Law. These Terms are governed by Italian law. Upon formal incorporation of the G—G entity under Italian jurisdiction, the governing law and forum provisions of these Terms will be updated accordingly.
Dispute Resolution. The parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, either party may initiate mediation. If mediation fails, disputes will be resolved by the competent courts of Italy.
Where mandatory consumer protection laws of your jurisdiction provide rights that cannot be contractually waived, those rights apply. These Terms do not restrict any rights you may have under mandatory local legislation.
19. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the individuals responsible for operating G—G from any claims, liabilities, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Website.
20. General Provisions
Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
Waiver. No failure or delay in exercising any right or enforcing any provision shall constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
Force Majeure. G—G is not liable for delays or failures in performance due to events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, government actions, or infrastructure failures.
Assignment. G—G may assign these Terms in connection with a reorganization, incorporation, or transfer of the project. You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without prior written consent.
Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy & Cookies Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and G—G regarding the use of the Website.
Survival. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including intellectual property rights, indemnification, limitations of liability, and dispute resolution—remain in effect after your use of the Website ends.
21. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for violating these Terms, engaging in fraudulent activity, or misusing the Website—with or without prior notice, depending on the severity of the issue.
22. Future Products & Services
G—G does not currently offer paid products or memberships. Should paid offerings be introduced, specific terms including refund and return policies will be disclosed at the point of purchase, in compliance with applicable consumer protection laws.

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the Website or, where available, by email. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
24. Jurisdictional Notice
G—G is an independent editorial project. Legal incorporation under Italian jurisdiction is in progress. Upon incorporation, these Terms will be updated to reflect the registered entity’s details, formal jurisdiction, and applicable forum. The current terms represent the project’s operating framework during this transitional period.
This jurisdictional notice will be removed and replaced by the entity’s formal legal details upon incorporation.
